The Coalition has gained ground on Labor in the latest Newspoll as AlboMP's approval rating falls back into negative territory.

The Coalition has gained ground on Labor in the latest Newspoll as Anthony Albanese's approval rating falls back into negative territory. On a two party preferred basis, the Coalition now trails Labor 49-51 following a two point turnaround. Prime Minister Scott Morrison also closed the gap on Mr Albanese as preferred prime minister.

Mr Morrison's approval rating improved slightly after experiencing a collapse in support over his initial handling of the bushfire crisis. The Newspoll – published in The Australian - also found 56 per cent of people thought the main cause of the bushfire crisis was due to a lack of hazard reduction burns, while 35 per cent believed climate change was the primary cause. AlboMP Who did they poll?

AlboMP This is what happens when labor ceases to hire teams for election campaigns based purely on performance and instead look to fill quotas. Spoiler alert, you will lose because you aren't listening to the majority

AlboMP the more people realise how insane Labor has become with this climate change nonsense the better the coalition will do.

It's the NSW Government's policy too - or doesn't the treasurer know that I want more action on CC. In saying that this is a statement not a policy. Most states & counties have made the same statement yet the world's Co2 emmissions is actually increasing. We need more detail, the LNP might as well make the same statement it seems useless.

Labor's 'reckless' climate policy is not one of a 'party of government' | Sky News AustraliaLiberal Senator Zed Seselja says Labor’s 2050 net zero emissions target is the type of policy to be expected from a “minor party like the Greens, but not a party who claims to be a party of government”.\n\nIn contrast to Labor’s “reckless” policy announcement, the Liberal Party have opted against an emissions target beyond 2030, but instead have argued for a renewed focus on technology regarding climate policy.\n\n“We will set out our policies which will include a focus on technology,” he said.\n\nMr Seselja told Sky News host Sharri Markson you cannot “lead a nation in this policy area with just aspirational targets” which could have “very significant economic impacts”.\n\nImage: News Corp Australia Boris Johnson is doing it in the UK 🤔 Shuts some people up while clearly not creating any action or even appropriately addressing the problem?
