China may be guilty of something “like criminal negligence" for its handling of the coronavirus pandemic, according to Tasmanian Senator Eric Abetz. China has been accused by some experts of delaying advising the World Health Organisation about the full extent of the threat coronavirus posed to the world in early 2020.

The Chinese communist government has also been criticised for not closing its contentious wet markets, despite vowing to do so after the 2003 SARS pandemic. Mr Abetz told Sky News "community sentiment" is very strong against China. "There needs to be an accounting because they literally have people's lives on their hands." "They do need to be brought to account.

Never

China maybe did not well at the beginning. But how long did we have to be prepared? 2 month. What did we do? Letting passengers leave the cruise freely? Telling people don't wear masks? Blaming others is easier than blaming ourselves, always.

Yeh lets go and arrest China, are these people daft.

OHH YEAH - Australia will settle our damages for our land, houses and businesses back, the PPE you stole from under us, our toilet paper and oh yeah our baby formula

I distinctly remember the Chinese saying a month or so ago to go to the footy. Can't quite remember the name, something like Shoimo Morriping from Fluman province. Coronaaustralia

Yes let me see how you may deal with it even its true

It is so pathetic of the world that the culprit China is now playing hero of helping to overcome a catastrophe it has self created. The Islamic Regime in Iran too is accomplice. The Chinese hegemony shall be stopped. IranRegimeChange is one important step forward.

Ole Eric is stretching a long bow to liken the situation regards China to 'criminal negligence'. I do however note a strong possibility of 'criminal negligence' in regards to Oz Govts permitting Ruby Princess disembark passengers in Sydney in the manner that occurred. auspol

‘Alarmist media’ are prepared to ‘fuel public panic for a big headline’ | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says while it’s hardly surprising Australia is witnessing a flattening of the coronavirus curve there are still the ever-present “alarmist headlines” from media outlets “prepared to fuel public panic and misinformation”. \n\nMr Kenny said a variety of media outlet and pundits alike, such as those from the ABC, Channel 9 and channel 10, among others, are “running sensationalist stories” which are fueling public panic on the coronavirus pandemic.\n\nHe said at a time like this, what is needed is “the cold hard facts” which can dispel circulated misinformation on the deadly pandemic. \n\nHe said the “factual message” which is delivered to the public, “should be one of reassurance, of action … government and community action, actually working to slow the spread of the virus”. \n\n“At a time of genuine crisis, I might have thought that sober analysis and sensible predictions might be more the order of the day,” instead of the “alarmist headlines,” Mr Kenny said. \n\nImage: Getty C. Kenny makes me angry! Does he pay attention to anything that is happening in other places, like the US now? Nothing is alarmist when it cones to this virus! Even with the restrictions, people still don't get it, still go to places full of others, etc. Idiotic thinking! The ABC crowd...as usual...are incorrect in their prediction of dire extinction 🤣🤣🤣Chris Kenny says...🤣🤣🤣

(and) very serious'. \n\n\n\n I thought her speech was very appropriate and touching and for 93 doesn’t she look great?
