An eight-year-old girl has died and several people have been injured after a truck ploughed into a rest area off a highway south of Sydney.Police say the B-Double hit another truck before colliding with three parked carsEmergency services were called just after 3:00pm after reports a B-Double truck had crashed into several parked cars at a southbound rest area on the Hume Highway.
NSW Police Acting Superintendent Darren Sly said initial investigations revealed the B-Double entered the Partridge VC rest stop and collided with another truck before hitting three parked cars."Words cannot describe how tragic this is, especially for the family who has lost a young child," he said.
