Usman Khawaja unlucky? Not according to Ian Chappell, who told Mitchell Marsh he risks a similar fate. 9WWOS

It's now been a decade since Khawaja made his Test debut, and according to Chappell, he's had more than enough opportunities to nail down a permanent spot.

Mitchell Marsh was included in the contract list, with Hohns describing him as "coming into his peak years." With the West Australian turning 29 at the start of next summer, Chappell says now is the time for him to finally deliver."You can only play an all-rounder if he's good enough. I saw Trevor Hohns saying Mitchell is a batting all-rounder, but I need a bit of convincing about that," Chappell said.

"He looks really good at times and you start to think he's cementing his spot, and then boom, he lets you down, or gets injured, which is another thing he has in common with Shaun.
