This year Australians are going to see a lot more of the Albanese Labor government in their “business”, says Shadow Immigration Minister Dan Tehan.

“What he’s advocating for is bigger government, more taxes, more public servants and I think most concerning of all to small business … more regulation, more red tape,” Mr Tehan told Sky News Australia.

“I think it’s a recipe for regulation and red tape, for government and public servants dictating how you will run your small business, not leaving it up to you to do what you can do best, and that’s to generate jobs in this country.”

Jimbo has never had a real job… political staffer, mp, Treasurer. Never had to balance the books, pay employees, never been an employee in any enterprise. Never made anything. This muppet is going to remake capitalism? This govt’s a dud but now it’s showing it’s true red streak.

Just how bad is polling for the Federal Liberals and Nats at the moment? Historically... 💩 ALP 57.1% to Coalition.... 42.9% Get your head around that.

A failed Liberal spreading garbage on the Murdoch propaganda channel. 9 years of auspol hell and the Murdoch's want you to vote for that again. Jim Chalmers says the current government has taxed, borrowed and spent more than Labor did. Is that correct?

That's one way of increasing the unemployment rate.

Just what we need more government

‘Further tightening’ of NT alcohol restrictions expectedWe can expect by the end of the week a “further tightening” of alcohol restrictions in the Northern Territory by the federal government, says Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. “With the likely introduction of opt-out alcohol restrictions in Aboriginal communities, not the current system of opt-in,” Mr Clennell said. “When it came to the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Northern Territory government and Indigenous groups in Alice Springs last Tuesday, I understand the outcome that was announced to tighten takeaway alcohol sales and have two alcohol-free days had been worked out by officials before the meeting.” “But in the meeting, the PM was quite strong in his advocacy for the opt-in, opt-out change.” Well do not blame me I did not vote for a labor government What is about the NT that requires alcohol restrictions? Aboriginal people and alcohol don't mix. Violent and rapey at the best of times, alcohol only makes aboriginal behaviour (crime) worse. Does this deserve a constitutional body? ‘So many reasons’ nuclear power should be a ‘key part’ of our energy mixMike Hewitt, CEO of nuclear power development company IP3, says there are “so many reasons” nuclear should be a key part of Australia’s energy mix. “Not the least of which, we’re the only G20 nation not pursuing nuclear power or having nuclear power,” he said. “They also have suffered from many of the energy poverty issues that have come about because of an over-dependence and over-commitment to renewable energy.” Meanwhile in outback WA…. Looking for a radioactive tiny container that fell off a truck. Nuclear needs a good PR spin King/Queen to help out it’s image. Will it provide cheap energy for consumers; cheaper than now? Who will guarantee that. Who will: own the infrastructure govt/private, pay for it, fund the cost overrun, pay for any disaster cleanup? Whose problem is the waste? Ban current&former politician involvement.

New footage ‘grudgingly’ released from attack on Paul Pelosi last year: MorrowSky News host James Morrow says new footage has been “grudgingly” released form last years’ attack on Paul Pelosi and speaks on the coverage of the attack from the media. “I think it’s important that we take a good look at the attack and how it was covered at the time,” Mr Morrow said. “On October 28, just days before the midterm elections – Paul was attacked, we were told by a hammer-wielding man screaming ‘where’s Nancy?’. “Predictably, the attack was pounced upon by Democrats in the media who said that Republicans had blood on their hands – details began to emerge about the man who allegedly attacked Pelosi – he didn’t seem to come out of MAGA supporting central casting.” Shame on all of you that doubted the story. He’s an 80 yr old man hospitalized for a fractured skull. But y’all had to play politics. For shame Anything to deflect from the pfizer story exposed by Project_Veritas …… …….. …. ….. Probably out of respect for the privacy of the person who was attacked, though I am guessing that 'respect' a difficult concept to Sky news to understand.

There is ‘nowhere better’ than AustraliaSky News host Amanda Stoker says Australia has given her “everything” and is “worth the bother”. “It gave the migrants in my family a place to go, a fresh start after growing up in war-torn Europe,” she said. “It gave my sister and I the example of great parents who built a life of substance from humble beginnings. “And it gave this plumber's daughter a first-class education, a top-shelf husband and a family of three precocious girls to go with it.” Ms Stoker said “there is nowhere better” than Australia and that “there is nowhere else to go”. “So let's make damn sure we leave this country better than we found it.” That’s nice to hear 👍 Worth the bother?
