Kerri-Anne Kennerley has defended her controversial rants, saying she “can’t resist” making comments that might not be politically correct.

Kerri-Anne Kennerly becomes more irrelevant with every desperately controversial thing she says, she is slowly fading from view like Marty McFly’s family in that photoWhile Kennerley, along with Fenech, Sorrenti, Delaney and cartoonists Warren Brown and Johannes Leak believe that “political correctness is killing the larrikin”, Valentine said that the “larrikinism of the past was male, quite bullying and was directed at everyone else except themselves”.

“The notion that Australians can laugh at themselves – oh yeah? Tell me the joke where the white male is the punchline,” Valentine, who wrote a“The punchline’s OK if it’s the Aborigine, the woman, the migrant, young people, old people, disabled people, all other religions except their own – all that’s fine. But that’s not larrikinism, that’s just bullying, that’s just nasty.”

While “there’s no doubt that the way we thought 20 and 30 years ago was not right and the pendulum did have to swing,” Sorrenti said, “it has swung too far, and that’s equally not right”. “People go to a comedy show to see this stuff, to air the dirty linen, to get this stuff out there so people feel more comfortable about these issues when they’re being talked about, when they’re being humourised.”Paul Fenech said he hates political correctness, adding all of his shows “are getting more and more politically incorrect”.

“I think the concept of political correctness, say in terms of making things fair for people in the workplace and all that, that’s fine. But you don’t touch humour. You’ve gotta leave humour alone.”trending in entertainment

The number one reason why I never watch The Project and seldom tune in to Ch 10.

Being right isn't racist.

Breaking news KAK is a out dated old bag that can’t control her cake hole

Good.

Not politically correct... Or morally correct Or logically correct Or ethically correct Or historically correct Etc, etc...

She is allowed to have and express her opinion it’s her right.

Well done KAK, loving watching these speech-cleansers get annoyed, it's priceless

Crazy how having an opinion that isn't that of the majority of a the younger gen is now considered a 'rant'... Why can't she have her opinion and voice it with the medium she has earned and is currently on Like what is going on that people can no longer have an opinion

Who’s watching?

oh ffs. plenty of experienced media personalities have had their careers annihilated for far less.

The perennially offended will be even more offended now.

Redneck boomer

Keep going love it's ok

Calling out the woke crew of people searching for things to upset them should not be seen as a problem.

Dreadful old dragon..and Australia Post made her into a “legend” of television via her own stamp. What a joke!

You're a breath of fresh air Kerri-Anne, don't change that or apologise - please !

I would nominate her foreign secretary or Dept for Environment or perhaps Emission reduction and energy minister under ScottMorrisonMP gov. Certainly fits right in with that mob. If they don’t want her there is always Trump. He always goes for blondes, but maybe younger.

Exactly how the majority of Australians feel. Good on you KAK!!

Love KAK 💓

🤮🦠

So as we suspected she plants the rants for self promotion only.

YOU TELLEM LUV!

Nothing wrong with being un-PC

Can’t she do it alone her lounge room!!!

Awesome she speaks her mind 😊

Then she should seek medical advice

It’s called trying to cling to relevance by getting her name in the media. Everyone should just agree to ignore her

And I back her 100%

Good never give into the woke Loud minority

Keep up the good work.

Give it to em Kerri-Anne

What a landmark of stupidity.

Her husband may have been her filter. She displayed much more empathy when be was alive. Now she is trying to by another Prue.

Why the pile-on? She told the truth

Telling the truth isn’t a rant.

Good on her for expressing an opinion.

The crazed ferals are manipulated into frenzies by media such as this, they will make sure she is torn down. The madness is being embedded.

Good, she can keep up the good work causing the woke to go bonkers.

Which is also known as ... attention seeking

omg i love her 😭

Men don't have the monopoly for being antiquated dinosaurs

Then get her off television. Simple.

Is it Tourette's, or is she a self-indulgent little-brain, do you think?

She is why I don’t watch studio 10 anymore and I’m not alone in that. She is horrible and so up herself

Branch-stacking scandal will haunt Labor into next election: Lambie | Sky News AustraliaIndependent Senator Jacqui Lambie says branch-stacking is an issue right across the political spectrum and has called for an inquiry to be launched into both the major political parties. \n\n“I certainly think they need to get a grip on all this, and it’s not just the Labor Party, it’s the Liberal Party as well,” she told Sky News on Wednesday. \n\n“I mean this branch stacking’s been going on for years and years and I cannot believe the amount of people already involved. \n\n“I think there should be an inquiry on branch stacking right across the country into both the major parties. \n\n“Let’s get to the bottom of this once and for all and see just how far this is going through both of them.” \n\nWith branch-stacking allegations already claiming the scalps of three Labor MPs in Victoria, Senator Lambie said she would be surprised if the issue wasn’t more widespread. \n\n“I can’t believe, after watching that report, that there isn’t a lot more people who knew exactly what was going on here and nobody did a God-damned thing,” she said. \n\nThe Tasmanian Senator said the scandal would haunt Labor into the next election if it did not make its inquiry transparent. \n\n'If they don’t come out and tell the truth and bring everything out into the open, Labor’s really going to struggle into the next election,' she said. JacquiLambie Every branch that was stacked has a member who should not be in power, a potential person in the pocket of special interest and foreign powers. They must all resign. JacquiLambie Maybe Stuart Robert and yourself could do it. JacquiLambie they may lose some seats in Vic... but they'll still win, the opposition is totally useless here
