Six teens charged as grieving parents vow to forgive son's attackers

The group that allegedly attacked Solomone ran off after the stabbing, but six teenage boys were arrested on nearby Billingham Road a short time later.

A 13-year-old boy from Hoppers Crossing, three boys from St Albans aged 14, 15 and 16, and a 15-year-old Deer Park boy were due to face court on Wednesday afternoon."He goes to church. Footage of the second brawl posted on social media shows people running into the taped-off crime scene about 8pm.A police officer was taken to hospital for minor injuries and another man was treated for a cut to the head.Three teenage boys were arrested at the scene and interviewed by police. A 15-year-old Sunshine boy and a 17-year-old Point Cook boy were released pending summons for assault-related offences.Homicide detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the fatal attack, or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.

This 'forgiveness' of killers by parents of young people who were victims of violence is part of the problem. I'm damn sure I wouldn't be forgiving a pack of thugs for killing my son. It's misplaced progressive 'compassion', which encourages more violence, and it needs to end.
