A Coles customer has taken aim at Cadbury over the “outrageous” price of one of its iconic Easter Dairy Milk bunnies. Sharing on Twitter, the shopper said he was gobsmacked to see the 250g treats on sale for $10. A closer look at the sales tag shows that the price equates for $4 per 100g - which is more than double the per 100g price of Cadbury’s 360g blocks of Dairy Milk chocolate. “If I had kids they’d be about to learn the truth about the Easter bunny ...

Another wrote: “These used to be $4.50 I’d buy three for my kids every year. They are older now and don’t like Easter type chocolate so I just buy them their day chocolate instead. I bet these won’t be all sold.” 7NEWS.com.au understands that there has been no increase to the price of Cadbury’s 250g bunnies from 2023, when they were also priced at $10. The bunnies will be reduced to $7 for one week only at Coles, from Wednesday February 28.
