A Brisbane nurse working with coronavirus patients has gone into self-isolation after testing positive to COVID-19.

The infectious disease nurse worked at the Princess Alexandra hospital resulting in six other workers also self-isolating as they await testing.

Queensland recorded 13 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk reminded the community to practice important social distancing measures ahead of the Easter long weekend. Image: News Corp Australia
