Queensland coal group Bowen Coking Coal will seek to capitalise on investor interest in coal stocks, with an equity raising planned for as early as Wednesday.

It is understood Bowen Coking Coal is talking to investors about a $100 million raising, which would be enough to increase the company’s shares on issue by about 15 per cent.Bowen Coking Coal shares closed at 38¢ on Tuesday, to be up nearly 130 per cent for the year to date. co-edits Street Talk, specialising in private equity, investment banking, M&A and equity capital markets.
