Star Casino set to be fined $100 million after damning report into its operationsThe fine comes after Star Entertainment last month accepted the findings of the NSW Independent Casino Commission, which found it unsuitable to hold a licence for its Sydney casino. They gambled and lost. And not one of its former management will hand back a cent of their bonuses, or spend even one night in jail. A win-win for all concerned I guess. $100 million? If a smal gaming room with 35 poker machines can generate $1.2 million in revenue in a week $100 million for a major casino is literally pocket change and a complete joke…

Star's Sydney casino licence suspended from Friday but doors will remain openThe Star Entertainment Group will have its licence to operate its Sydney casino suspended from Friday, and has been ordered to pay a $100 million fine. 100 million , what is that to them? A couple of hours profits from the pokies . A joke !! scoopercooper This is favouritism to the extreme. If any other company was found guilty of this sort of behaviour, the Directors would be in prison and the company disbanded. The power of the Packers remains. Or maybe I’m being unfair ? Maybe all casinos are run with criminal intent ?
