The Black Lives Matter protests are based on “palpable untruths” and the nation's political leaders must tell these protesters their facts are wrong, and they are achieving nothing says Sky News host AlanJones.

The Black Lives Matter protests are based on “palpable untruths” and the nation's political leaders must tell these protesters their facts are wrong, and they are achieving nothing says Sky News host Alan Jones. Mr Jones said “I am sick and tired of protestors ignoring the truth about Indigenous Australia”.

He said the latest Australian Institute of Criminology statistics show 70 per cent of the 765 homicides involving an Indigenous person in the 22 years to 2012 were committed by an Indigenous person. "Yet these protests vilify police". “There are real problems in Indigenous communities”. “Yet only through the support of police and authorities can these appalling circumstances be addressed”.

AlanJones Has Alan ever had any sort of relationship with the truth?

AlanJones It’s got to be about “news” to be able to use that term. Jones is just opinions.

AlanJones BLM proteters have their foot on the necks of vulnerable people trying to breath and live. All I am trying to say is - please fight to give everyone a chance to live another day, some of us our days are numbered because of Covid-19 and because of your actions.

AlanJones BLM protest are putting lives at risks. The lives lost we can't bring them back. We have already achieved what we needed to achieved for them and we will continue to do so when it is safe. The protests are not achieving anything, the only thing is doing is killing our love ones.

MRobertsQLD AlanJones

AlanJones Australia needs to be armed.

AlanJones White people's facts do not override the lived experiences of millions of people of color. Thinking like that is exactly why these protests are necessary.
