The former deputy prime minister said he finds it hard to understand how it could be labelled radical, given it’s in the Constitution.

‘Owe it to the people’: Barnaby Joyce demands ‘total transparency’ from LaborNationals MP Barnaby Joyce has demanded 'total transparency' from Labor after new government analysis has shown the closure of coal-powered energy plants in the New South Wales Hunter region will be devastating for the economy and jobs. The document shows the unemployment rate will spike, indirect jobs will be affected, and wealth will diminish in the region. 'It is incumbent upon a government to be honest to the Australian people,' Mr Joyce told Sky News Australia. The report is called 'Estimated impacts of CFPS and associated coal-mine closures' – it was commissioned in October and has been done by the climate change department. Mr Joyce said the Labor Party has been 'hiding the direct effects of a document they commissioned'. 'What they should do today, immediately, is table the full report,' Mr Joyce said. 'Because they owe it to the Australian people to be direct and honest. 'Let's see if they'll give us the full document so that we can have total transparency. 'Because the people who are going to be kicked to the curb deserve that.' Isn’t this the same bloke who showed zero transparency while in the position of Drought envoy? And the same happened to Elizabeth when Holden's shut under the libs. Bad luck and find new employment opportunities just like others needed to do. 640 jobs linked to those power stations

Censure motion allowed Morrison to ‘justify why he did what he did’Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the censure motion allowed Scott Morrison to justify to the parliament why he failed to disclose his self-appointments to several ministries to the public. “I guess what it did achieve … it made Scott Morrison justify to the parliament why he did what he did,” Mr Clennell told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “I think some people will feel sorry for him, though and think the government are kicking him while he’s down; I’m not sure it was the success that the government saw it as.” Whitlam and Barnard formed a two-man government, known as a duumvirate, to govern until a full ministry could be announced. Barnard held 14 portfolios while Whitlam held 13 and they immediately set to work on their reform agenda So when can we expect a similar investigation into goings on in Victoria? Or was it just an AlboWitchHunt ? auspol It provided a reminder to us all of what a morally bankrupt and dishonest man he is. Nothing more.

National party opposing the Voice to Parliament is ‘good news’The National party's decision to “oppose the constitutionally entrenched Indigenous Voice to the parliament” is good news, says Sky News host Peta Credlin. “I say good news, because it's a rare instance of the sensible centre-right, doing something on principle, rather than trying to be all things to everyone, in response to focus groups,” she said. “As David Littleproud said today, dividing people by race is wrong in principle.” Credlins on a role! How many things can she get wrong? Its racist to give one race a special voice to parliament and then exclude people from other races from that special voice. Does Peta still have a job ...lol
