NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham says it is “completely unacceptable” the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils is promoting a forum featuring a Taliban spokesman.

The event, which is titled, “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Diaspora Muslims” is scheduled to be streamed on the federation’s Facebook page on Saturday night.“Australian soldiers lost their lives combatting them, they seem to be unrepentant in terms of the sort of discrimination and oppression they force upon their own people in Afghanistan and we don’t want those messages coming into Australia.

“So I’d call upon sensible, moderate, caring voices in the Islamic community to say this shouldn’t happen.

Most Australians support a net zero target via renewables, Australia Institute revealsAs the federal Coalition negotiates a climate policy ahead of the Glasgow COP26 summit, a new report says the majority of Australians support a target to achieve net zero. If only ScottMorrisonMP & Barnaby_Joyce did too. Wishful thinking. 🙁😠 Pretty sure we keep saying that; then electing the Libs again and again. 3/4's of 2,500 polled by a progressive think tank is not 3/4's of Australians.
