Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says Australians should feel confident that Queensland border rules won’t change after she announced an earlier reopening of the state from Monday next week. Follow our live coverage:

There are 155 coronavirus patients in hospital and of those, 28 are in intensive care.

But Mr Bowen dismissed the claims, arguing two-thirds of polluters are already committed to net zero.Australians should feel ‘confident’ that Qld border rules won’t change: PremierShe was just onto spruik the fact that her state’s hard border will come down on Monday, several days earlier than originally anticipated off the back of an 80 per cent double-dose vaccination rate.

1: no one believes her she has said that before. 2: testing on Day 5: how is that going to work there are already 2 hour lines for testing and then what do we need to isolate in our room for the 3 days it will take to get the results back.

There’s absolutely no way I’d believe her. If any State is going to temporarily close, it will be QLD. It will be last minute, and it will be extremely difficult to re-book elsewhere at the busiest time of the year. Why take the risk.

Iv spoken no teasing

Watched her do the rounds of 3 TV stations this AM. 'Come along. Spend money' she told TheTodayShow. All the time maintaining a rictus grin on her face reminiscent of a used car salesman
