Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has raised concerns there are not five or six potential vaccines made available by the Morrison government and touting the Moderna vaccine as an ideal second candidate for TGA approval.

“The fact that world's best practice means five or six [vaccines] should be available,” Mr Albanese said. “The prime minister last year was saying that Australia was at the front of the queue. “That's not true”. The Opposition Leader said Australia currently had access to three vaccines and urged the prime minister to accelerate the approval process.
