'Quiet Australians may be quiet, but they're not stupid' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says Prime Minister Scott Morrison 'will rue the day' a form of a voice to parliament 'ends up in legislation', emphasising 'his quiet Australians might be quiet but they are certainly not stupid'.\n\n'There is an inherent contradiction in any attempt to unite Australians by treating people differently - indeed, it's the very fallacy at the heart of identity politics,' she said.\n\n'You don't end discrimination by discriminating and you don't increase social harmony by defining people by their differences.\n\n'Today, the very fact that we have more Aboriginal people in the parliament than ever before shows this system is what works - that it unites and doesn't divide, particularly when you acknowledge that these MPs were all elected by the breadth of the Australian electorate and not just a narrow electoral roll of black only voters.\n\n'The moment we divide any Australian into 'them' and 'us' – we entrench divisions even further. Now is the time in our history to break down divisions, not create them.'\n\nImage: News Corp Australia\n\n 'his quiet Australians might be quiet but they are certainly racist'. Yeah they are. True.
