The ACT Greens leader Shane Rattenbury says future discussions with Labor are about 'getting the right outcome', and that the party is not 'in this at any price'.

The ACT Greens say they are prepared to enter a coalition government with Labor, but they want extra spots in the Ministry to make up for their loss of independence.The ACT Greens will ask re-elected Chief Minister Andrew Barr for more places in Cabinet

Greens leader Shane Rattenbury was already a cabinet member in the previous government, holding the climate change, justice, corrections, mental health and road safety portfolios. "They have given us a mandate to participate in Cabinet, and they do expect to see more than one Greens minister in Cabinet," Mr Rattenbury said.

Mr Rattenbury said the party had highlighted climate change, social housing and planning as its priority areas for the next government. "With Gordon still in the race, I think it's probably a little bit early to be divvying up his roles," he said.
