While the total government funding given to the ABC is increasing year-on-year, its operational funding has been frozen at 2018 levels, costing the public broadcaster $84 million.
“It gives you a clue as to how objective they are doesn't it, if they can be so distorted and misleading on something so obvious, how can you trust them on anything,” Mr Kenny said. While the ABC keeps arguing it is not biased towards the green Left, it is unsurprisingly the Greens who are “fighting hardest” to deliver more funding to the ABC.
