Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has recommended that the country’s Constitution be changed to allow for the president to be directly elected.

CAPE TOWN -

"A president who would fire the minister of finance just because his friends wanted someone else in that position who would cooperate with his friends and help them to capture the country; Treasury. Zondo also recommends that the Hawks consider resuming an investigation based on an internal probe into the Principal Agent Network that Fraser set up, which was halted.

Zondo’s also recommended the establishment of an independent agency against corruption in public procurement, which he said should be a statutory body headed by a five-member council, with an inspectorate, a litigation unit and a tribunal.

We change a lot of things in this constitution, not just to change it for presidential election

😂😂😂how convenient

I think this guy overestimates himself, his political connections really got to his head.

Thuram23 He should have also recommended S25😂should be amended.

He acted outside of his scope of references, who asked him to do that.

Thuram23 Who asked him to make such findings.

But AdvBMkhwebane couldn't recommend that constitution be amended on the Reserve Bank issue? Even courts overturned her findings on that matter? You guys are bullshitting us straight.

You started so he can do as he wishes clever

The other recommendations are more likely and more interesting - a mix of direct and proportional representation for MPs and a independent body to appoint SOE leadership

That was not in the terms of reference.

This was the error he and the President spoke about on Monday after the President realised that there is a possibility of him stepping aside before December conference.

No system of elections will benefit the country until the vast majority of the electorate realise that we hold the power to change the government, and votes against the corrupt and incompetent tax thieves. Elections have consequences.

I'm happy to join those who are sharing the good news about Brandonkaren11 I'm not persuading anyone to trade with her but i advise every investor to make the right choice when it comes to Bitcoin mining i got my withdrawal safely without any interruption

😂😂😂Anc won’t allow that.

I fully concur

I think that would benefit us voters political parties should focus on passing laws & exercising oversight on President & ministers, right now the ANC has a monopoly on ruling, oversight & law making

crimemind3 Yes please. jsteenhuisen for president. He wipes the floor with everyone - bar none - in parliament.

What if CyrilRamaphosa decide to be bigger man, do in FW Deklerk style 😂😂😂

crimemind3 Given the people's of SA's voting history, dont know if it would really help ... 🤔

Zondo is a mad dog. He is in Glencore's pocket,no right thing person should take this fiction report serious.
