The state capture commission on Tuesday said the release of its final volumes has been delayed simply to check for any errors.

JOHANNESBURG - The chairperson of the state capture commission, Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has come to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s defence.

The report, which was due to be released last Wednesday, is close to 2,000 pages long and contains the findings of investigations into the State Security Agency, the SABC, the Waterkloof Air Force Base Gupta family landing, among other issues. Just after midnight, the Presidency issued a similar denial, stating that it rejected similar claims made by some political opposition political parties.
