Delivering his keynote address during the ANC's election manifesto at Church Square in Pretoria, Ramaphosa noted that during his campaigning he had found South Africans who wanted “simple things”. He said people wanted water, electricity, sanitation and refuse removal.
“One of the biggest pledges the ANC makes to you is that we are doing things better and differently to make sure the best people run municipalities,” he said. He promised to remove any licence fees that small and medium enterprises had to pay to do business, and committed to “put all that red tape into the dustbin so we can free small and medium enterprises”.
CyrilRamaphosa forget to tell his voters the DA had to get a court order forcing the ANC & EFF from attending council meetings, so there was a quorum to take decisions..
With corruption cases surfacing, terrible service delivery, incompetent staff/ministers & indecisiveness of the most senior person, I hope it shows at the polls.
It will be complete madness to hand back Tshwane to ANC. When ANC left, the metro was bankrupt DA EFF coalition was unstable. ANC took back the metro through back door, they bankrupted it in 8 months. ANC is not an option
If one looks at the horror stories of Ethekwini,one will be crazy to hand back the cities which have escaped the greedy paws to the gluttonous monster.

Is it the case of wanting Pretoria back or wanting the Tshwane Metro Budget back? By the way the metros get a hefty budget as per National Treasury Funding Model and losing a metro means missing our on the huge budget. It is that serious.
