In less than two months, the Formula 1 circus will resume its duties when the new season starts with the Australian Grand Prix.While the engineers and team bosses are at the respective factories working on the 2020 race cars, the drivers are either at home or the gym preparing their bodies for the year ahead.
It’s a fact that the rigorous demands of F1 have a definite impact on an F1 driver’s body. Ex-F1 driver, Fernando Alonso, once said that by the end of a season, a driver’s neck is bigger than when the season began. You can very well believe it because the amount of G-forces these men are exposed to is just ridiculous.
We came across three F1 drivers preparing, in their unique way, for the 2020 F1 season. Their regimes and tactics are worlds apart, but it gives interesting insights as to how drivers go about preparing for a new year of racing.
