The country’s township economy is valued at R400bn, equivalent to almost 8% of GDP annually, and employs about 2.6-million people. He said the manner in which the bill was put forward was reminiscent of apartheid spatial planning and that it sought to have designated areas of trade and living for people based on nationality.

Gana posited that the DA will make a comprehensive input on the bill and once it has been tabled before the portfolio committee the party will call on the public to comment on the bill. Business for SA chair Martin Kingston told Business Day that B4SA supported “several aspects” of the bill in national legislation.

This stupid and unwanted man so called Magashule Gana opposed what citizens asks from government to put citizens first then expect people vote him surly that tells you that DA is a sellout organization only priorities foreigners as their are members in parliament.

Was that not the intention?

Is it because you don't want them as your neighbours in the leafy suburbs? First of all they are illegal In the country. Why not go and be a councillor in Pakistan or Bangladesh?

Excellent statement and initiative by Makashule Gana. An MPL who is doing his job.

Foreigners must leave township economy to the local people. Foreigners must help us with rare skills that is not xenophobic but a right thing to do.
