All five of South Africa's refugee centres were raided simultaneously on Friday morning by the Special Investigating Unit , which is investigating allegations of corruption.
With the help of the Hawks, the SIU began search-and-seizure operations at the centres in Gqeberha , Pretoria , Musina , Durban and Cape Town .
