Sharks coach John Plumtree is not worried about playing their Challenge Cup semi-final against Clermont on 4 May in London.
Sharks coach John Plumtree wasn't worried by the fact that they will play their Challenge Cup semi-final against Clermont in London instead of Durban, saying they will hope to tap into the South African support base there. According to European Professional Club Rugby rules, South African teams cannot host Challenge and Champions Cup semi-finals at home, which meant the Sharks opted to take their last-four Cup match on 4 May to Twickenham Stoop, the home of Harlequins.
Harlequins, for that matter, weren't going to need their home ground as they will be Toulouse that weekend for their Champions Cup semi-final against the French club.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
