SA students in Russia treated abysmally | City Press has seen a copy of the service level agreement the department signed with Green Tutu in 2017 for three years, which specified that R50.9 million would be spent on 97 students

According to Majuba’s spokesperson Buks Mahlangu, the department has consistently paid in full for the education of 103 students at various universities, but has lost track of the money through intermediary Green Tutu 99cc, trading as Racus SA.

Majuba sent a delegation to Russia and it returned with a pessimistic report about the students’ living conditions. He said: “The students are right to complain. Their money’s being spent on something else. The delegation was surprised that, while some students lived in bad residences, others lived in two-bedroomed flats. Why were they treated differently?” he asked.

In January, Nkosi rejected the supply chain management’s request to advertise the tender for R70 million, saying: A source within the department alleged that Mkhabela was keen on bringing Kum back into the system, despite his contract having expired.

In ANC everything is tender, why they can't use treasury or Reserve bank to process the payment directly to the institution or tender was not renewed bcs they failed to pay tender fee to the politicians?. In SA everything is possible 🤷‍♂️🙉

What is abysmally in the common iSindebele or in our common township slang, if I may not stretch your imagination? Take me into your confidence.

Is this news article intended to sway public perception of Russia in SA against the background of a successful non-participation of the vote against Russian sanctions at the UN? The SAn public has now become fully aware of this types of 'stunts'!
