Pupil dropout crisis | More than 40 000 pupils have dropped out of school in the Eastern Cape this year alone, while the Northern Cape has seen a high dropout rate of pupils in grades 1 and 10

More than 40 000 pupils have dropped out of school in the Eastern Cape this year alone.

ANC IS A MARGOT.

It's not just an EC problem, it's a national crisis. This will inevitably lead to a whole host of other challenges and social ills. Parliament needs to step up and find the political will to change the trajectory of our country or we are all doomed.

Please change the education system to empower children instead of forcing black learners to learn Afrikaans or Zulu. These subjects can be replaced with plumbing, painting, building, singing, dance, cooking, sport, etc. Children will not be bored and they will not drop out.

Good for them. All they were doing in school was enriching few capitalists in return of certificates. Most would've ended up unemployed anyways. At lease by dropping out, the money they saved can be used to start businesses.

An our government they don't talk about people who don't have matric as whenever you go is matric matric certificate so government must look at training more people for job's not for universities as these drop off people will need to have life ALSO

Some are being chased away because of various reasons and the department is watching

Even though the DBE knows about ways and solutions to fix this, they refuse to as they desire a bribe. Me and my company have had countless meetings with them and the end result is the same. Bribe

Eastern Cape schools are not schools by cattle kraals. ANC has messed up the lives of Black people BIG time. They brought nothing but poverty, underdeveloped and diseases to Black people
