Sunday, 15 JanuaryPolokwane City missed the chance to go three points clear at the top of the standings after they were held to a goalless draw by Uthongathi on Sunday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Vuyisile Wana gave Magesi an early lead and La Masia were reduced to ten men just before the half-hour mark after Liam De Kock was red-carded.Magesi climbed up to seventh on the table with 19 points while La Masia dropped down to 13th.Black Leopards and Venda Football Academy got back to league action with a point apiece in the Limpopo derby after a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

All Stars climbed up to third on the table, five points behind leaders Polokwane City while TTM were left lying in tenth spot.Casric Stars consolidated their second spot on the table as they re-opened their league season with a 2-1 win over Platinum City Rovers on Saturday afternoon at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.
