Nkosana Makate, who is embroiled in a legal battle with Vodacom over the cellphone feature, asked Mkhwebane to investigate the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors . Makate accused the regulator of delay in finalising a complaint he had lodged with it in 2018, relating to the Vodacom matter. Makate reported the regulator to the public protector in January 2020.

He said he had asked the regulator to investigate the “liability disclosure of Vodacom Ltd with regard to the ‘Please Call Me’ matter”. Makate, among others, asked Irba to investigate “possible misstatement in the audited annual financial statements of Vodacom … relating to the extent of liabilities disclosed”. He also asked the regulator to investigate “concealment of possible criminality to the detriment of shareholders, such as investors, pension funds” ... and “misleading statements contained in Vodacom’s pre-listing statement [prospectus]”.

TonyBeamish I just wanna see another black man become a legitimate millionaire esp because of his inventions.

Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (Irba) is a biggest scam like so many independent Regulators in SA, Makate's painful story is the reason I don't entertain anything from Vodacom.

Our Public Protector runs a parallel court elevating herself to a Chief Justice.we will soon have Mkhwebane Commission of inquiry with findings that are different from the one led by DCJ Zondo Mr Makate is officially my new role model. This man fought Vodacom for over 2 decades and still the fight is on for the 10b He deserves. Talk about never giving up ey. He shares a similar story to Robert Kearns, who had his invention stolen by Ford & Chrysler, but won at the end. I think the next body that must be taken to the PublicProtector is the CSOS_SA . Bad decisions that come very late.

WATCH | ‘I’ll never support this nonsense’- Mashaba on Malema’s call for open bordersHerman Mashaba blamed the government for allegedly failing to control borders. True look what's happening But I thought the EFF was the one responsible since they are the one in government because even ANC blame them too Social-views: simply closing borders or building walls like Trump will not work...we need a more sustainable solution like the revival of intra-trade, allowing Africans to own resources, means of production & trusting Africans with huge projects.
