“Honourable president, I was one of those who had hope.”

DA interim leader John Steenhuisen at the Sona debate on Tuesday, where he took shots at President Cyril Ramaphosa.DA interim leader John Steenhuisen has fired shots at President Cyril Ramaphosa, saying since Ramaphosa became president “things have got worse”.

In what looked like a “jab fest”, Steenhuisen did not hold back on Tuesday when he called Ramaphosa out for certain things he said in his state of the nation address on Thursday last week.“Honourable president, I was one of those who had hope. I saw in you a man who could just maybe lead us out of the turbulent times and point us in the direction of prosperity. Instead of turning the corner and getting better, things have got worse.

From frying pan to the fire.... MmusiMaimane was Not a great leader, but Steenhuisen is a disaster!

We all had hope but in retrospect it was more driven by getting rid of Zuma. The current stalemate just give the mafia time to reorganise and move on the remaining institutions still trying to fight crime. Once the EWC EWC start, the real shit will hit the fan.

Cyril will have the same reply again blaming apartheid for his failures. Watch. Nobody is going to jail. They are all corrupt. 9 point plans etc bla bla bla

U were wrong, he is anc member, u thought he is saint

No points, just critizing We want solutions Honorable

What ideas ? Act like apartheid never happened, his already done that

These homelands were granted 'independence' with limited self-rule, the main purpose of which was to delete the homeland residents as citizens of South Africa and cut back on the government's responsibility for providing housing, hospitals, schools, electricity and water supplies

HELEN ZILLE: Business Day, not the DA, is the real loserSelective demonisation in your editorial makes your newspaper the one which has lost Yes ZilleTweets helenzille , there are double standards, but why isn't Our_DA up for the challenge of meeting it? Is it not possible to remain true to one's principles without offending the electorate? Why not strive for humbled perfection, principled based popularity? Yeah, it seemed BD were celebrating an EFF victory. The article itself had nothing to do with business. Who's their editor there?
