The man who took a photo of himself holding a knife to a cat’s head has released an apology following a probe from the SPCA:

The SPCA received a report of animal cruelty on Tuesday, 20 June, and have been searching for the man’s whereabouts for questioning.Jayden Faans, who claims to be a Facebook comedian, says that he posted the image on social media as part of a joke.‘Hi, friends, family, and animal lovers. As you can see the cat is not hurt, perfectly fine and healthy. The picture I took on the 20th of June was just for a meme and I do understand it was a stupid joke.

Meanwhile, one social media user commented on the apology, saying, ‘Lmao people actually made it [an] issue😂😂.’
