The DA have accused Sekhukhune mayor Stan Ramaila of using government programmes to campaign for re-election, but Ramaila has denied it, saying they ‘can go to the nearest hell’.

Mayor Stan Ramaila, who is current ANC Sekhukhune regional chairperson, is accused by the DA of seizing an opportunity during the during a Covid-19 awareness campaign held in Mable Hall near Groblersdal in the Sekhukhune last week Friday to sell the name of his party. Ramaila is likely to face competition for his position as ANC regional chairperson from current head of staff for the Limpopo provincial government Mogale Nchabeleng and current Sekhukhune ANC regional secretary Jerry Maseko.

“In Limpopo, we have 19 cases of people who tested positive for the Coronavirus and we should be focusing our attention to combat any further spread of the virus in our vulnerable province and forget about cheap politicking.
