JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says that video footage will be handed over to police that may lead to the arrest of those behind the fatal stabbing of a Mondeor High School pupil.Lesufi says they have managed to obtain footage which they will give to the police.

Arrests are not enough , there is a culture problem with our youth Hence I support the Our_DA call for 1 year compulsory service where our kids can be taught discipline, self respect and respect for others
this should never happen to anyone...i raising two boys and already lost one child...iam scared for my children and i know the pain of loosing a child... i dont think i can handle it again ....this is pain ful very painful

Lesufi weighs in on new school admission regulationsThe department says the guidelines will be gazetted soon and will expand the provinces feeder zones for schools to 30 kilometres as opposed to the previous 5 kilometres. anything that advances quality of education should be welcomed. Unless it's a function of wrong prognosis, it Should be ok. Travelling 30 km to school speaks volumes about how much SA has progressed in 25 yrs. Smacks of political opportunism to me.
