'Honoured to have engaged with him': Former PAC leader Motsoko Pheko dies at the age of 93

"Deeply saddened" at the death of its past president, Dr Motsoko Pheko , the Pan Africanist of Azania said it was"honoured to have engaged with him" and described him as a"tree of knowledge".

The anti-apartheid activist died on Friday at the age of 93, his family announced on social media platform X on Saturday afternoon. "We are grateful to God for the time spent with him, the love he so selflessly imparted, including his immense knowledge as a renowned Africanist, lawyer, author, historian, theologian, academic and politician," the family said in a statement.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
