Defending champs Man City pip Chelsea to FA Cup final

The big team news on the day saw Julian Alvarez come in for Erling Haaland, who missed out through injury while Nathan Ake and Stefan Ortega were recalled by Pep Guardiola. While City enjoyed most of the possession in the first half, Mauricio Pochettino's charges were a big threat on the counter attack with Jackson and Madueke on the flanks while Cole Palmer also got his touches.

It was all Chelsea in the early stages of the second half, as Jackson squandered two big chances in the opening five minutes after being set up by Conor Gallagher and Palmer.
