WATCH LIVE: Minister Ntshavheni gives update following KZN, Gauteng unrest

JOHANNESBURG - JOHANNESBURG - The police have again revised the body count following last week’s rolling violence and looting.But on Friday, that number has gone down to 330.

Acting Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshaveni said: “Some deaths that were previously included, were not related to the unrest. The number of deaths is revised when there is a positive confirmation that the death is related to the incident. Given the nature and extent of the deaths in the provinces, police are continuously checking that they have full confirmation that the deaths are indeed related to the unrest.
