The severely injured gardener was transported by ER24 paramedics to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

“Condolences to his family. Our inspectors tried their best to save the man from the dogs,” she said. ER24’s Russel Meiring, explaining their intervention, said: “Assessments showed that the man had sustained numerous bite wounds and showed no signs of life. Paramedics immediately initiated CPR and advanced life support interventions in an effort to revive the patient. Fortunately, after a few short minutes, the patient’s vital signs returned. Once stable, the man was transported to Leratong Provincial Hospital for urgent care.
