Cyril Ramaphosa is vying for a second term as party president and has hopes of an ANC victory to secure the presidency of the country again. He already has the endorsement of six provinces of the ANC to lead the party. But earlier this week, KwaZulu-Natal, the party’s biggest voting bloc, threw its weight behind Dr Zweli Mkhize, despite his alleged links to the Digital Vibes scandal. But as far as coherent endorsements go, this is where it ends.

But why does that concern you so much, shouldn't yt folk be worried about DA or VF plus performance in 2024?

This pre-occupation with the MYANC is tedious to becoming archaic. Why does anyone feel compelled to author its machinations is beyond comprehension. Let them do what they do, & face the consequences. It’s fatalistic to even anticipate/promote any unity in this political party.

ANC needs a 'not a crook' faction . Good luck with that though

The ANC will have a wobble, and offer Julias a bundle to join them and shore upmthe much needed vote numbers in critical centres. He will will grab the opportunity with both hands and become the new powerhouse in SA politics.
