Eskom: Load-shedding likely to continue through winter

JOHANNESBURG - It looks like it's going to be a dark winter. Eskom says load-shedding will probably continue in the evenings -- that's from 5pm to 10pm -- for the next few months.READ: Several generating units have returned to service over the past 24-hours, helping to ease supply constraints.

You cannot imagine how we look forward to the noise and fumes of generators, broken electrical equipment and the future announcement that electricity prices will rise by 200% again because ESKOM is still not coping!

I disagree that Loadshedding will continue for long this year. The man/woman in the street will soon become more important than investors as elections approach.

Load shedding is good for the poor cause at least they share it with the rich unlike load apartheid

Eskom should just say, WE HAVE FAILED.

Who thought up this idea of load shedding between 5pm and 10pm This is cooking time for supper, help kids with homework, get kids bathed, this will be after you sat in traffic with no working robots for hours. WTF is up with this government deployees?
