ANC to put ‘Eskom 2.0’ on the table for South AfricaThe ANC wants to a second state-owned power utility to challenge Eskom’s monopoly in the country. And despite the establishment of such an entity not being in the party’s discussion documents for its policy conference this weekend, it is most certainly on the agenda. “Eskom 2.0” is no longer Eskom if the reason for its establishment is as a result of “Eskom 1.0” being ran to the ground as alleged, give “Eskom 2.0” a new name if it has to redeem itself, you know, like from Saul➡️Paul or Bosasa➡️African Global Operations. How will they fund it? Sell Eskom 1.0 for R51.00 (like SAA). Enough capital for another pipedream 😂
