Julius Malema and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi are charged with allegedly assaulting a police officer at the funeral of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in 2018.

The case against the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters, Julius Malema and MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi returns to the Randburg Magistrates Court.EFF leader Julius Malema and party MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, will return to the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

The pair are charged with the alleged assaulting of a police officer at the funeral of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in 2018.The incident was caught on CCTV and released by AfriForum last year. During their last court appearance, Malema told journalists the charges are a waste of time and should be scrapped.
