I waited for someone to come rescue me. “Labels are looking for ways to exploit and make money and when you don’t generate money, you end up getting dropped at any time. Whereas if you start off as an independent artist and try to invest your time into learning and understanding the nature of the business, you will be able to pick yourself up with or without a label.
