DA, EFF talks: Will Tshwane soon have a red beret mayor?

This week the Democratic Alliance confirmed that discussions among opposition political parties about the future of the City’s mayor were underway.

The DA’s recently elected Gauteng caucus leader Solly Msimanga said the party’s federal leadership had been meeting with the EFF over the Tshwane mayorship. On Thursday, EFF leader Julius Malema told reporters that while they would not call for a motion of no confidence in Mokgalapa, as part of power-sharing, they would be pushing to have their own representative elected to the post.

Eff and DA dont even hate each other. Dont know what hatred this is here. I'd say give them the metro let eff show everyone how they can work👍 we havnt seen them work yet, only throwing around hate speech and so on. Let thm work and prove themselves capable of running a metro 👍

If this deals fails, is going to be the DA more than the EFF that may leave to regret this opportunity. Local elections are around the corner.
