Procuring illegal drugs from Cuba to fight Covid-19, former SA National Defence Force chief General Solly Shoke told his main lieutenants the armed forces are not subject to local health regulations. Furthermore, Shoke told the Military Command Council , the highest decision-making body of the SANDF, the drug was approved by the World Health Organisation .
