All in a day's work: Newly gazetted immigration regulations to be withdrawn after procedural error

The newly gazetted immigration regulations, which introduced a point-based system for general work visas and the introduction of a remote work visa, will be withdrawn following a procedural error.

This was announced by Minister of Home Affairs, Aaron Motsoaledi, during a briefing on the second amendment of the immigration regulations, which were gazetted on 28 March 2024.
