Will Ferrell Launching New Podcast Network With iHeartMedia

Will Ferrell attends the CinemaCon 2018 Gala Opening Night Event: Sony Pictures Highlights its 2018 Summer and Beyond Films at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace during CinemaCon, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners on April 23, 2018 in Las Vegas.

The Big Money Players Network is slated to premiere 10 podcasts over the next 24 months, all produced by Ferrell and iHeartMedia. The shows, which will begin launching next year, will be available on iHeartRadio and everywhere else podcasts are heard. “The iHeartPodcast Network has been such a pleasure to work with,” said Ferrell. “I love hanging out in the offices and I’ve only been yelled at once for using someone’s computer, which I shouldn’t have done. Its creative, multiplatform assets and ability to market and reach millions of new podcast listeners is unprecedented. I’m looking forward to continuing our journey as creative partners and helping to define how comedy and podcasting will merge in the next couple years.

In addition to the deal with Ferrell, iHeartMedia’s recent podcasting push has included the acquisition of the popular HowStuffWorks network in 2018 and the development of a number of original programs including
