Lizzette Zambrano was in the water with her husband when they were electrocuted — here's what she remembers of the horrifying ordealIn a video shared by her attorney, Zambrano — who has filed a wrongful death lawsuit — said that on June 11, she and her husband decided to get in the hot tub after they saw that her son and cousin were in it.

"I remember clenching my fist so hard and at a point I bit my tongue. It paralyzes you. It completely takes control over your body," she added, sharing that it felt like it went on for "forever" and "got to a point where the shocks were so unbearable." "It was harder to get him because he's heavier, he's taller. And the electric shocks are just so strong and unbearable that people wouldn't last more than a few seconds in there," she said, noting that when they were both pulled from the water, neither of them had a pulse.

"My eyes are closed the whole time. But I begin to hear voices and it's the people working on me. At this point, I'm having a hard time breathing," she said. "I can't catch my breath. They're trying to intubate me. I'm feeling everything, you know."However, she was unable to express her emotions at the moment. "As much as I wanted to just cry and break down, I couldn't because I knew that would affect my breathing.
