Natalie Hayden is an IBD patient advocate, who was diagnosed with Crohn's fifteen years ago, at age 21. Since 2016, she’s been documenting her experience living with the disease in her blog,In an email to HealthyWomen, Hayden gave me an example of the danger faced by immunocompromised people every day.
