While Sears execs get $25 million in bonuses, laid off workers struggle during Christmastime

Why is this even possible? It should be illegal if your bankrupting a company because your inept management then management doesn’t deserve a damn bonus!

Contractural bonuses, you either pay them or get sued to pay them. Better for the creditors that the bonuses get paid so there isn’t a lot of litigation expenses.
